The Grillion (gree-yon) by Petzl. The Grillion is an adaptation of the popular Grigri belaying device into an industrial lanyard. The smooth cam feeds line on command, yet locks when a load is applied to the lanyard. The difference in the Grillion and the Gibbs or Microcender is that the Grillion can release line with your body weight against the cam. The Grillion comes with its own lanyard. Disadvantage? The Grillion will not accept Steelcore Fliplines.
